Francobulles is a francization play group intended for children between 0 and 5 years old and their parents, grandparents, or guardians.
The program is free and registration is not required.
As per the science behind learning through games, family members are invited to come play various educational games that develop the children’s French-language proficiency. During information sessions intended for parents, tools and advice are given to encourage speaking French in the household.
Goals of the program:
This program wants to:
- support children’s academic successes and wellbeing;
- build a sense of belonging and facilitate educational transitioning for children who needs francization by involving parents in the French education of their children;
- welcome and support families with children between 0 and 5 years old, evaluate their needs, create and implement a preschool francization plan;
- promote Acadian and Francophone culture;
- work closely with targeted schools and partners in order to facilitate an efficient continuity of services.
Activity calendar and locations:
Some programs are offered inside the schools of the Francophone Sud School District, while others are offered in certified educational child care services, according to the agreement between local Francophone partners. Sessions last 3 hours, early in the day, based on the school calendar. Francobulles will be returning this fall! Follow our Facebook page to see our entire activity calendar.
